MASPware GuardMobile is a security- and controlsystem for Treo 800w devices. Its a silent, hidden program, which (e.g. after a thievery) executes commands remotely initiated by the Treo 800w owner.

Imaging, your cellular Treo 800w has been stolen. What can you do now?

• You can initiate an alarm and lock the Treo 800w
• You can locate your Treo 800w (GPS receiver is required)
• If your stolen Treo 800w contains top secret data, you can do a hardreset remotely to erase all data! (Use carfully!)
• You can initiate a callback to overhear the thief

How does GuardMobile work?

The Treo 800w owner installs and configures GuardMobile. He sets an arbitrary Treo 800w PIN and adds cellular numbers, which can control this Treo 800w, to totally prevent abuse. After activation, the program stays "silently" in background until its asked to do some action.

Since every Treo 800w supports SMS nowadays, the whole communication is done via SMS, which means you can control your Treo 800w using any other cellular Treo 800w (no Treo 800w required!). No internet access is necessary. The Treo 800w replies all actions with a confirmation SMS.
